Inventing the plants of ‘Avatar’
James Cameron hired a plant physiologist from UC Riverside to create the exotic flora in Avatar. Avatar’s Pandora apparently has its own encyclopedia, almanac, and dictionary (all set for release in the near future). The attention to detail is unprecedented. It was one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. Revolutionary to say the least.
